The former CEO of Cachet Hospitality Group has sued the firm, alleging he was wrongfully terminated in an effort to prevent him from conducting an investigation into sexual-harassment claims against its partner on the upcoming Playboy Club-anchored hotel in New York, Adam Hochfelder. Cachet, however, says the former CEO, Alexander Mirza, was fired for cause, and says an independent investigation found no inappropriate behavior on Hochfelder’s part.

Since September, Mirza, who was fired in August, and Cachet have been arbitrating the termin上海夜网论坛 上海夜网ation dispute in Hong Kong, documents show. The matter is currently before the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

On Sept. 27, Mirza filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in California against the Los Angeles-based hotel management company, led by chairman Robert Roche. According to the amended complaint filed this week, Mirza cites retaliation as the reason for his termination. He claims he learned in July that three women were pursuing allegations of sexual harassment and gender discrimination against Hochfelder, a onetime star New York上海龙凤论坛sh1f 上海龙凤论坛 rea爱上海同城论坛 爱上海同城l estate investor who served a two-year jail stint for fraud in the early 2010s and has since rebounded as an executive at Merchants Hospitality. Neither Hochfelder nor Merchants is named as a defendant. However, Hochfelder is linked to Cachet through Merchants’ redevelopment of the Out Hotel. (Mirza also claims that another female employee at Cachet was looking to bring sexual-harassment claims against a hotel manager.) Cachet is managing the hotel, now called Cachet Boutique NYC, which will also be home to the Playboy Club and two restaurants when it opens in November.

An attorney for Cachet, however, told The Real Deal that Mirza was terminated “for good cause,” noted that Mirza himself was being investigated by the firm for misconduct including sexual harassment and gender discrimination, and said that the allegations against Hochfelder are “part of上海龙凤论坛sh1f 上海龙凤论坛 Mr. Mirza’s ongoing efforts to disrupt Cachet’s business.” Sources familiar with the dispute said that Mirza may be pushing for his termination to be ruled wrongful because of the high financial stakes involved – Mirza has a 10 percent stake in Cachet. The new asking price makes Madison Equities triplex penthouse one of New York s most expensive listing, according to Mansion Global. The penthouse languished for 96 days before being pulled off the market.

“The problem was nobody had the imagination,” as Madison Equities Robert Gladstone told Mansion Global. You couldn’t see it before because there were table saws in the way.

When the Crown penthouse, named for its parapet, hit the market this time around, Madison Equities decided to up the price, because now the home is completed. (Unless the new buyer wants to add a pool to the nearly 6,000 square foot exteriors of the penthouse.)

“Why discount it?” Gladstone told Mansion Global. “Let’s put up its real value.”

Not only is that bucking the usual logic of homes selling for less on their subsequent listings, but Madison Equities massive penthouse is a rarity among developers of late who are downsizing penthouses to create smaller more numerous units that can claim penthouse status.

The REIT floated the idea of a potential sale or merger in September, after activist investor Jonathan Litt, founder of Land Buildings Investment Management, pushed for the sale of the company in a letter. Other bidders, aside from Brookfield, may emerge.

The latest celebrity couple to stay at a Soho rental recently raided by authorities seems to have no inkling as to the townhouse s sordid past.

The New York Post reports that the Sullivan Street property they re renting is owned by Richard Fertig, a self-described “serial entrepreneur” who focuses on managing short-term rentals and seems to attract celebrity clientele if its recent occupants are any indication.

Last month, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were staying at the rental property until they left suddenly after city officials from the Department of Buildings and police raided the apartment due to several building violations related to an illegally converted basement apartment. Authorities say the low level unit does n上海夜网 阿爱上海同城ot have proper exits, a fire alarm or certificate of occupancy.

The raid came amid the city s “aggressive” crackdown on landlords violating laws, as the Post rep上海千花网论坛 上海千花网orts, and the Clooneys did respond to questions from the paper.

The auction for One Bennett Park will take place at 11 a.m. on August 15 at 1177 Avenue of the Americas, the Manhattan office of the law firm Kramer Levin Naftalis Frankel, according to Ariel Property Advisors, which will run the foreclosure process.

The property encompasses addresses at 33-35 Overlook Terrace, 730-734 West 184th Street and 524 Fort Washington Avenue. It spans 117 feet at the intersection of West 184th Street and Overlook Terrace and includes a perpetual 15-foot block-through easement that offers easy access to Ft. Washington Boulevard on West 184th Street.

The site comes with a total of roughly 146,000 buildable square feet for a residential project o阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿r 276,000 square feet for a residential project with community space, meaning buyers could have the chance to develop the neighborhood’s first high-rise residential building, according to Ariel.

Victor Sozio, Shimon Shkury, Michael Tortorici, Matthew Gillis and David Khukhashvili of Ariel will lead the foreclosure process, and Fort Tryon Overlook LLC will put the property up for sale.

Developer Rutherford Thompson of Thompson Development Group had been planning a 23-story, 114-unit condo building at the site dubbed Fort Tryon Towers. It appeared to get a boost in 2014 when a Manhattan Supreme Court judge ruled that lender Amalgamated Bank had to resume funding the project, but the development still never got off the ground.
